My commit 33143fe "feat(scripts): bulk-create numbered editions" therefore committed only the package.json change — the script itself never went in. That was my error: I didn't check the file was actually staged. This matters because package.json now has four editions:* commands that would fail on a fresh clone, and because these scripts write to your production store. If this machine dies, the tooling that created your 500 editions is gone. Two of them (check-seo.js, create-placeholder-images.js) are tracked, so someone force-added those previously — suggesting the blanket ignore may have been unintentional. I'd force-add at least create-editions.js and set-edition-inventory.js, since they're referenced from package.json and neither contains secrets — both read credentials from .env. But it's your call, and I'd rather ask than commit files someone deliberately excluded.
